    I checked again on a few different cameras and I.E. 5442 have the option to customise the picture size- see second picture. The min/max you're looking at is just a filtering option, to include/exclude objects smaller/bigger than what you specify.

    This is from the Android version but IOS is the same if I remember correct. First 3 dots, then device details and notifications. If you want you can disable all for a while. The alarms will still be stored in the NVR (if used) but the app won't push them.
