    It's not "all I have". It's just I don't particularly want to spend that much seeing this is not a high priority item with my home surveillance and I had thought that pan and tilt cameras were "OK" in that price range. Seems I may be mistaken.

    Thanks for your suggestion. I tried using sricam for the ptv profile but even the pan/tilt arrows don't work for that. I tried using various ports 80, 81 and 5000 and none of them meant the cameras responded. Returned to onvif profile for ptv, using default port, and the arrows worked again...

    Ok. So I get it now. Blue Iris should tell the camera to remember that position when the button is held. This is stored in the camera. If I go to my sricam app and push preset 1 it should move to where it was set in blue iris as that's stored in the camera, not in the app. And same vice...

    I've tried changing the preset "name/value" after reading online this might make the presets work. I tried "31", I've tried "01" and obviously "1" but the camera won't go back to preset 1 position (where I clicked and held preset 1 and where its saved when I used the sricam app)

    Same findings here. Came from an Android based surveillance app which I had a few dramas with, and then tried ispy... Ended up here at Blue Iris and the flexibility and reliability are many times greater than the others.

    Thanks for the feedback. I'll go exploring when I cook the next rotisserie. I'm thinking lowering contrast, but keeping the size bigger as fire should light up a large area, and doesn't pick up shade changes of the meat when it rotates. Not sure if it'll work but would be handy as an alarm...

    I am only running one profile at the moment. I have lowered the wait time to 0.0, but will look for the box to uncheck when I get home. Maybe I am doing something silly, as the alarm can trigger repetitively if motion is continuous?
