Thanks heaps!!
Just want to confirm before I plunge and buy one.... will this allow me when someone presses the chime to alert my alexa speaker devices in the home to play a sound i.e. ding dong?
I am a little concerned with the quality of video my camera is outputting....
See sample video: (skip to about half way).
DB1 running 5.2.4 191211 if that helps?
Yes. More specifically they had other features such as multiple images being sent from BI. there is no mention of that in post 14. Hence my question. Cheers.
mmmm.. they did promise quite a significant amount of new features and improvements by Q1 2020 -- which is FAST approaching..
@varghesesa -- could you please let the community know what features we are expecting to be rolled out by the end of the month (Q1)? Thanks!
ok so i've just tested it... and the Reolink C2 can run off my 20,000mah power bank!!!! wow.... am I calculating it correctly that based on 20,000mah and <6w power, it should last 100 hours between charges?
So I am on a busy street with thousands of cars that go past per day. As a fun experiment I'd like to try out some ALPR detection.
The biggest issue I am going to face is this.... distance. My house is approximately 25m (80ft) from where the cars are on the road.
I've got an existing 4mp...
Some quick questions.. i had a look but could not work it out...
1. Is there any way to turn off the IR for night mode?
2. really want to bump down the exposure to 1/50 for night and 1/250 for day - is that possible?
3. Want to have WDR on at night and off at day.. is that possible?
okay got everything up and running... it responds when I do /start and /gif etc... however, whenever i 'test' the alert I get this error in the console:
https://prnt.sc/qo5izm
I am really interested in knowing more about this. Is there any way you could link me to something or help me understand it more? Even to add it to the 101.
Sounds good... i just activated that setting. Thanks. However, I am a little worried the bitrate may be a little low for that resolution and FPS? All my other cameras bitrate sit at like 8000-1000 lol
So.... my new DB1 is installed :) What do you think of the picture quality... it is 3:47pm on an overcast day... sunset is 8:30pm.
VBR @ 2048Kbps
20FPS / Iframe 20
Video encoding = higher
Resolution 2048x1536
WDR off
Exposure 1/250
BLC off
Thoughts for improvement?
