I came to this sight about 18 months ago to get educated just like you. I listened to and followed what the knowledgeable members were saying. All my stuff still works and has been zero maintenance. Recent events has me thinking of better gas cans: Midwest Can Company Jerry Can Review, from Harbor Freight! ( gasoline can )

The problem with the attached funnel is any dirt or dust that settles in the funnel gets poured into your gas tank……not a good design. This type of can solves that problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
