PoE extender and two cams on 1 wire

Correct. Which is an issue for many, especially if they live on the property. Oh, and outdoor pools can't have cameras covering them which is a HUGE issue for some insurance companies. I wonder if AirBnB will backtrack a bit on this. -

1/2.9" vs 1/1.8" vs 1/1.2" Camera
As already pointed out, the difference is night and day between 1/2.9" and a 1/1.8" or 1/1.2" sensors. I'm swapping out Dahua 2431 variants with a 1/3" sensor to Dahua 5449 1/1.8" sensors. Remote/Wireless POE Switch?
I don't use my Nano M5 for my cameras but my primary internet is supplied by through a Nano M5 from a distance of 2km away. As long as the antennas are aligned, the signal is flawless.- CanCuba

If you're dealing with inconsistent lighting, I'd go with the 5442 series. If there's not enough light any given night, it can go to IR. Too bad your neighbours aren't more open to more lighting. Pulled this off the 4K/X and 5449 last night. Going to drop both gain and NR a touch more on...
