    Edit.. nevemind. I had blocked the camera from the web and that was my issue connecting to the server. The doorbell is working like it should now. id10t error.

    I have a streetlight in front of my house. No option to shutoff the IR that I know of.

    Yes, LUMA can do this. Create a new "user" and assign the cameras to that user then “pause” internet access.

    Disconnect the batteries and check the voltage on (from the top) screw terminal 2 and 3, should be 12v-24v. Also check the voltage at the door as well.

    I don’t have the BI app. Only tried the RCA and HV apps (same) and they are fine.

    It’s smooth playing. BI found it with a search. I set the password in the camera setup process and logged in with admin and my pw.

    I reset the device and started over.....I can login now and it’s connected to BI.

    I got a raspberry pi and installed OpenVPN on it then created the key and installed it on my laptop and cellphone. I can now vpn to my Pi and view my cams/ nvr. This was all new to me and worked. Building A Raspberry Pi VPN Part One: How And Why To Build A Server - ReadWrite

    From my understanding, Push notification is from the cam to your email server (outbound) on the standard smtp ports. VPN won’t matter in this case.

    So if the camera is “PoE” and PoE is normally 48v but the camera is 12v, won’t that be an issue as in fried camera??
