Tis true. I actually saw this, once. Very close-by lightning strike. So close I heard the sizzle. Saw a big spark jump from the aluminium sliding door in the door wall to the frame. Several bits of electronics in the home theater system shut down, too. (Luckily there was no immediate damage.)- Dramus

Silly me, but I thought you simply terminated them with the appropriate connectors and plugged 'em into the switches. Actually, "aircraft grade aluminium" is a real thing, though what it means is somewhat variable. Have you examined the user's manual for the various solutions for recovering/resetting the admin password? I just looked and there are several solutions presented, incl. using a recovery email address and scanning a QR code with a mobile device. Network Video Recorder User’s Manual V4.4.6 (pdf) -

Apparently ONVIF® is a registered trade name: ONVIF® Trademark Usage Policy. As such, they do have the right to mandate its usage. Whether it makes sense to pursue something as trivial as the instant example is another question entirely. -
Indoor 90 degree camera
I'm using a Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-AS wedge with 3.6mm lens in an upper corner of our 22 ft. x 13 ft. family room. Works great and is relatively inconspicuous. Purchased directly from @EMPIRETECANDY, whom I cannot recommend too highly. -

This is a known problem with the Torx wrenches Dahua supplies with some cameras: Warning about tool shipped with Dahua cams! and tool head broke off in set screw of Starlight Housing. That's why I now have some ChannelLock brand Torx drivers I use on my Dahua cameras. -
