I'm impressed. But at the same time it's only 4MP. What needs to be tuned to get autofocuse running properly...

    I can see the camera on my router, I set the mask to 255.255.0.0. I reactivated IE feature but when I enter that IP IE tried to peddle edge (btw this forum frontend is fantastic!) config tool doesn't see the camera and needs a password if I put admin admin i get connection failed pinging 108...

    8GB You're right! I'll swap. Thanks! Intel has such confusing lineup that I didn't even think past the N5105 I might be able to return the Coral as well and gone is the scare of that thing overheating or disconnecting. Edit: the N100 unfortunately has a much weaker iGPU...

    2 days flawless so far. 180$ Mele N5105 with a 80$ USB coral and CP-AI 2.10. Had to turn off USB power management and set it to 100% min cpu. It's toasty so I'm trying 20% min cpu. CP-ai is very fickle so I will update if it craps out.

    Who uses Dahua AI capable cameras? Reliable AI for triggering events? Pro's/con's?

    Is there an AI powered 1/1.8 Dahua that's the equivalent of a 1/2.8 80mm? And one that's about 170 degree wide FOV? Large land, country side, with IR because we have super dark nights some times.

    Reading... By the way, I saw in BI that trigger can be done by BI motion detection or ONVIF trigger, so I clicked on the settings button and saw a huge list of triggers that look like strings. what's the trigger for humans or vehicle? Is it standard in ONVIF?

    That's super amazing! What hardware is that? Back when I was building drones I came across this super cheap Chinese IC that had analog IO, video processing and a few thousands neurons that could run concurrently at 20fps.

    Sounds terrible. I read that BI is stable for some but that's not my experience. What's the alternative? Hardware NVR? More expensive cameras with onboard AI and email notification?

    That happened when using CP-ai 2.24, since I downgraded to 2.1 it's stable.

    Makes sense and seeing the sorry state of their software, I'll gladly spend more on cameras to offload the AI. I'm sure it'll end up cheaper and more reliable than noodling with CodeProject + Coral. Empiretech is Dahua/Hik? Their 1/1.86" IR-less starlight camera was outstanding.
