    I will try and source one for you tomorrow? It may mean that we take it out of a faulty unit where the POE switch is fine. If not it still may be a viable option to just buy a POE switch and will save a lot of hassle sourcing one.

    Totally agree I have had the option to sell Dahua products however I just found Hikvision (personally) a better solution.

    Also to note if you buy Hikvision from a proper source the chances of them getting bricked is near enough nil. I have sold 100's of Hikvision cameras last month and never had an issue upgrading these cameras as they are EU spec'd.

    You could also consider a Hikvision solution which could also work well? Some Hikvision cameras especially the ANPR ones can have a built in heater. Regards

    Yes we have tried that. So this is the reason I don't really like selling them at all unless they are internal use. Another bad camera is the DS-2CD2542FWD-I god forbid don't install these outside.

    Yes one camera that may be of interest in my opinion is the DS-2CD2T35FWD-I5? Its a 3MP dark fighter bullet with up to 50m IR range (thats what they say anyway hahah)

    Haha no worries mate. If you guys need any information from a sellers point of view please let me know. I.e what cameras have to most issues and what not. Me being a seller I see a wide range of problems that could occur with a product and have to deal with it.

    Yes I totally agree however most of the situations we have installed these cameras they have worked great. However sometimes the new dark fighter 3mp does out perform it. Hope that is more subjective and meaningful.

    Yes apologies guys what I mean is that the IR cut filter sometimes goes on these and therefore produces a pink image.

    People have had a lot of issues with the 2742 as they steam up when installed outside. I am a supplier of Hikvision and these products always seem to come back even tho they are installed correctly. Regards
