    Hi all, I have a Hikvision camera DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL which has 2-way audio, using their HIK app 2-way works great! However, Is it possible to get 2-way audio working with the BI app? Currently I can only hear what the camera microphone picks up, I'm not able to talk back. Thanks!

    And thats what I did, but BI doesn't seem to be starting it? Does it open the deepstack GUI when BI starts it? The only difference is I can't use the default port 82, so changed it to 84, but no luck. Running DeepStack manually on port 84 is fine.

    Just thought I'd post an update, the new PC is leaps so much better with BI, CPU Usage on my old system without quicksync was approx 70%, down to 7%~8% now, so very happy!

    Hi, it looks like the setting for "Mertic/Celcius" won't stick between restarts. If I change it in the app it remains and works as expected, however once the app is restarted I need to manually go and click the "Metric" option. Thanks

    I did tinker with H.265 some time ago, but from memory BI didn't fully support it, couldn't do motion detection etc...

    My motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics, so I believe this means QuickSync won't work. Not all of my cameras support H.265+, so I'll have to stick with h.264 for now. Great so just adding a new video card, I'll be able to offload decoding and lower CPU. Cheers

    Thanks for the reply! I can't see the GT 430 on that list, does that mean its not supported? If using GPU for hardware decoding, why does it matter if the the CPU only supports it in a limited fashion? I do see a # next to the cameras, but I still don't see anu GPU usage, so I'm not sure.

    I use a script to download a radar image and store it locally in the BI www folder, I then point BI to use the local image so it doesn't hammer external URLs to obtain radar images.

    Following the wiki BI cpu usage is now a much more reasonable 30~40%. Now after also enabling "limit decoding unless required" it's down to 15-22% Very happy with the results now, thank you so much for the assistance!

    Hello, been running BI for quote some time, just noticed that the CPU (i7-2600k @ 3.4GHz) is running quite high sitting around 70% for BlueIris.exe, mem usage for BI is 2.5GB I'm running 5 x IP Hikvision, Direct to Disk recording enabled. Cameras are running a mix of 15fts and 20fps. Any ideas...

    Change the size of the area displayed? Or change the font size? If it's the latter I don't want to reduce the font size as it will not be legible.

    When you use a "text overlay" within BI, it reads the contents of a text file created by BI tools. The overlay doesnt "wrap" text, so it displays truncated, see example below "Wind Desc"
