    I cant use IE it only allows Microsoft Edge which is IE but when i plug in the ip address it forces me to use Chrome plugin

    IPC HDW5231R-Z

    Can anyone post the recommended settings for this camera. I just started to have a couple of issues and I am not sure if it is user error or not. First on one camera I cannot get email to work, and now on this camera the picture is horrible with IR on. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Drew

    I have had these cameras now for 1.5 years, they always worked great. I am now no longer getting notifications on my IDMSS plus App nor can I receive any email. When I try to setup email i get email test connection failed? All settings are correct as i have 2 other cameras and do get emails...

    Question for for the NVR5232-4KS2 and analog cameras. Will an analog camera with a balun on it to make it work with Cat 6 cable be able to see it if i plug into the POE Switch all Dahua camera's are plugged into?

    Chrome app does let you put in a larger number but then I cant add to the NVR. No worries 10 is secure enough. Its just that I have a very unique password system I use so I never forget a password from any site I visit but this works. Can you believe I think I drove off with the Dome Enclosure...

    When I attempt to add a new camera to the NVR NVR 5232-4KS2 without POE, it looks for the password, but for some reason it wont take more than 10 digits, I use 19 digits when i log in with IE. Any thoughts ?

    Yes i found out that if you add cameras to SmartPSS you can control functions, but as nayr said if add your NVR you get all cameras and mobile access without opening ports for each camera.     Went on a hunch, logged out and back in with a user name that I setup a while ago. And yes admin rights and all tabs are there. So somehow there was an error ( Id10T) and admin must have been kicked out of admin rights LOL Problem resolved Thanks again nayr
