New server, primarily to get off of XP, but camera upgrades are possible.
Hi all, I am weighing my options on this server. It currently runs XP with 14 cams. It is a Dell Precision T3500 with a 2.4ghz Xeon W3503 (this CPU supports x64 support but not Quick Sync), 4gb ram, C: 150GB, D: 250GB, E: 1TB, F: 1TB. Thanks for the added info! I was planning to use imports too. If one goes out within the standard warranty. I may just eat the cost. Not sure - maybe I could express the cost difference as an option and let the customer chose, but that would be tricky. -

POE on different power standards (120v AC, 230v AC etc etc) - confused
I received the camera on Tuesday. It powered up via POE. Everything is working well. It only has a PAL option in the dropdown. The image is currently showing the lens cover, my lens is in the mail.- frankred

Replace failed analog license plate reader
@nayr I just received my camera. It looks to have firmware that is 40 days new. Software Version 2.400.0000.26.R, Build Date: 2016-02-19 WEB Version 3.2.1.325845 ONVIF Version 2.4.2 S/N I logged right in with admin/admin after finding the IP on my dhcp client list. -

The NVRs Nelly's sells are pretty small, though I can't say I have looked closely at the size of many products. However, I might look to solve your problems with different solutions. I agree that it looks very likely based on the specs of the other Acti models. I may see if Acti can help me ID the converter tomorrow. I am guessing I will be routed through a reseller though. I need to get some more info and then email Ubiquiti before I go back for an update. -

Dropping analog probably means I might have to pull a network cable through a 20ft conduit and then up the pole the cameras are mounted on.
