    Thanks Kevin, that's good to know. I also personally prefer NVR and very often use WD Purple HDDs, but sometimes clients want to use just camera and sd card or use sd card as redundancy.

    1. With Milesight camera(s), I can get RTSP stream out with VLC player (and OBS and Ipcamlive) with URL rtsp:/user:credential@192.168.1.10/main 2. Same URL than in 1. does not work, also without /main or /sub. There is no other URL's suggested on that iSpy page for Milesight devices.

    Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P NVR with cameras connected via Ubiquity wireless bridge

    Well, in Dahua NVR4208-8P-4 it has 8 PoE ports for cameras and 1 port for LAN (non-PoE). So it has two subnets, default 10.1.1.x for PoE-switch and then for example 192.168.1.x for LAN. Dahua can find the cameras in both subnets, I don't know how it is with Hikvision.
