    If your home is 2 story, use an upstairs closet that is up against the attic as your "command center." That way you can easily run a new electrical outlet to power your system, run your Cat cables, etc. That's what I did and I just leave the closet door cracked open for cooling purposes.

    That was the point of my post above since I'd mentioned intrusion/line crossing detection. Neither shows in the web GUI, even on single camera. I'm on it right now and it does not work - perhaps for motion, but not line or intrusion. If there's a way to make it work I'd love that.
