The issue happens when tinyCam tries to show message. Looks like Xiaomi specific issue (check https://github.com/JohnPersano/SuperToasts/issues/88). Will fix that in 7.0.1 update.- alexvas

tinyCam 7.0 uses new HTTP engine. There might be the issue. -

I see crash. It is somewhere in H.264 decoder. Try to change H.264 decoder in App Settings - Video Settings or just use Server Push or Snapshot protocol in Camera Settings in the app.- alexvas

Then that means Hikvision NVR periodically blocking tinyCam. All Hikvisions have account protection if password is entered several times incorrectly. Check if you use RTSP over TCP in Camera Settings in tinyCam Monitor app. RTSP over UDP can cause the issue you have. -

Tiny Cam Viewer + Huisun v2 + primary stream + PTZ controls = reboot
Changing decoders in the app should not affect in any way to the camera. It only affects how the app decodes video on Android device. No any additional or different packets are sent to the camera if you just change decoders. -

You can try https://www.camcloud.com/. It uses your camera FTP client to upload recorded videos on motion to their FTP server (camera has to support such feature). Am I paranoid to think camera software makers could store all of our credentials?
tinyCam stores passwords locally on your device. Developer does not have access to this information. I will also implement password encryption with master password one day. So knowing only master password it would be possible to get camera data to login in the app.- alexvas
