Dahua will not work via P2P protocol in tinyCam app. Will work only via IP address. There are multiple P2P providers available on the market. tinyCam works via TUTK provider which has 20 characters UIDs.- alexvas

FOCSCAM FI9831W and FI9831P V2 Settings
Both tinyCam and IE uses proprietary protocol by default for Foscam cameras. Blue Iris as far as I remember uses RTSP. Most probably RTSP protocol for your camera simply does not work. Change protocol to RTSP in tinyCam to check if it really RTSP issue. Try to reboot the camera. -

You are asking about proprietary Hikvision protocol which tinyCam does not support. No idea how that works. tinyCam works with RTSP only for Hikvision. -

Hi, There are multiple protocols supported by Hikivsion DVRs. The app uses RTSP protocol to connect to DVRs. Not any proprietary protocol. -

In tinyCam PRO app it is possible in app drawer in live switch on 'Background audio'. In this case audio will also work when watching floating window. -

tinyCam Monitor PRO does not support talking for ONVIF profile. However the app does support talking for Hikvision cameras. Just select vendor Hikvision.- alexvas

Connect tinycam to Nvr or IPC?
It is better to connect to IPC directly then via NVR if you use VPN. In this case you would be able to get more controls for your cameras in the app, e.g. 2-w audio and reboot camera commands are available only if you connect to IPC. There is no public available exploit at the moment. But it is just a question of time when this happens. What hackers should do is just compare "fixed" and previous version of Hikvision firmware publicly available. -

I would recommend you to use ARM CPU based Android devices (not x86 Intel Atom) for performance reasons. At the moment tinyCam works better on ARM devices.
