    Can you enable it on the camera via web interface? If you still can't - try doing full camera reset and then try enabling it immediately afterwards (maybe there's some other setting you have enabled which conflicts with the "+" function).

    I went the other way - hacked the latest iVMS to accept chinese cameras. Have you tried e-mailing hikvision yourself? I am not sure if they'll send me an update unless I would probably write them in Chinese.
