How do you verify how many channels your nvr will record
Back the FPS down for a couple of cameras and try again. Did the trick for me.- Hoog23

Dahua NVR Question
Hi, What is the difference between the 42xx, 52xx and 72xx series (or the appropriate EyEsurv version)? Is the processor better in each successive series? Thank You- Hoog23

Swapped some lenses out
I've got 5 cameras outside and only notice it on the one in the driveway that is the closest to what I am viewing (for lack of the technical term). It is also the only 1.3mb cam that I still have in use. -

Swapped some lenses out
So I purchased a couple of lenses online from M12 Lenses and decided to swap them out on a 1.3 bullet I had laying around. This is what I purchased:F1.8 Mega Pixel CCTV Board Lens 6mm and 12mm Ebay would have been a lot cheaper but these arrived 2 day shipping and over all I was pretty happy... -

Eyesurv remote?
I picked up a used ESDV-NVRX-8 on fleabay. It didn't come with a remote. I plan on just hooking it up to an extra monitor in my office. Am I really missing anything (like functionality) by not having a remote? Thanks in advance.- Hoog23

I think I was successful. You have to first unscrew the board with all of the ir's. I found a youtube video that I followed Then loosen that lock ring that you identified (I used a small flat blade screwdriver). Once the lock ring was loose I could easily turn the lens and bring it in focus... -

Thanks Vector. I unscrewed the lens cap and can see the lens. I couldn't turn it with my bare hands. Do I have to use a needle nose pliers. -

Thanks guys. Its getting so dark early now that it looks like this is waiting until Saturday. I will first try to lower the mounting location and then relocate the camera to another location if that doesn't work. -
