    I have had the same issues and have reverted back to 8.3.3.3 to fix em. Updating isnt always necessary as “updates” are often minor and probably won’t give you better picture or anything revolutionary. My advice: try to roll back

    Even if "fake" it is still not optimal sensor for 8MP. If you are not satisfied I can quote someone else here that once wrote "buy once, cry once" and get other cameras. I can highly recommend to contact @EMPIRETECANDY who sell OEM Dahua stuff.

    In Wildcats video of the 4K he is I belive running some 1/60 exposures. Would it be fine u recon for getting the "brighter" overview pic? Remember for me this is not for identifying I have others at that location for that Or would you keep the 4K/T/X at 1/120 minimum?
