Amcrest ASH43 configuration issues, substream, etc..

If your wifi cams still have choppy video, take one ASH43 and move it to where you can wire it to router and configure it for wired. That may help tell you if wifi is the problem which it probably is.

Amcrest ASH43 configuration issues, substream, etc..

Try using Amcrest Surveillance Pro(ASP) to change iFrame. I've used it to change to H.265 on an ASH21 not connected to BI. Go to Device Cfg on ASP home page. Then to Camera>Encode>Video...

Unboxed my Amcrest 15 min ago and already having issues

Another option: Run the Amcrest IP Config tool on your Windows PC and it should tell you the NVR IP address, etc., if the NVR is working and connected to your LAN. If NVR is not working, try a unplug/replug power to reboot it...

Issues with Blue Iris finding Amcrest SmartHome Camera

No Amcrest Smart Home camera has a Web UI. Normally, only SH app should be used to change SH camera settings. Using Amcrest Surveillancce Pro, I have changed some video encode settings in ASH21 SH camera that are not in SH app. Amcrest View Pro app can also change some video encode settings...

Dahua NVR HDMI to TV vs phone/tablet apps - installation location question

Suggestion: Put NVR in basement with hdmi and mouse cables going up to TV. Don't connect mouse upstairs except when you use it, to keep kid's from messing with NVR. Normally have NVR displaying cameras you want on upstairs TV. Be sure the NVR setting called "Auto Logout" is set to 0 so you...

Dahua NVR - too many alerts due to plants. How do I correct this?

I use a Camect hub and don't get false detects from plants, trees, bugs, rain, snow, fog, flashing lights, etc. It just detects objects I choose from a list of about 30 objects. https://camect.com

Programmatically access multiple Dahua NVR using P2P (No port forwarding/VPN)

In SmartPSS Device Config, see if you can select a P2P NVR camera, go to Encode>Snapshot and set it up with 1/S interval. Then go to Storage and set up Schedule and HDD Manager>FTP. If it all works, you would then get all your snapshots stored in a FTP server.

Directional microphone for PTZ nature cam

Early this year I used the PC program Audacity to try to reduce the background road noise, etc. from a microseven mic in a video recording of an owl nest and owl hoots. It worked to some extent, but was not worth the effort. I remember reading a post in this forum that the microseven mic...

    Amcrest ASH43 - unable to login BI5

The ASH43 and AD2C are Amcrest Smart Home cameras. ASH43 doesn't work and AD2C does work for you. Try setting up ASH43 in BI exactly the same way as AD2C, and see if it works. The BI setup instructions in the AD2C user manual are different than the instructions in your post #1. Also, both...

To change all Day/Night Profile settings when the camera changes the IR/night vision on or off, try this. Need tutorial direction to stream cam on our new subdivision web site

@ntbstl68 I don't believe you are streaming from your camera directly to youtube. Most newer Dahua cameras support RTMP. The following video describes how to do it. You could google the subject to see what other info may be currently available.

Trouble powering a new IR illuminator

You probably are using a poe spltter that has output of 12V DC 1A (12W) which is not enough for your camera and 8W illuminator according to your first post. Try using a splitter with output of 12V 2A (24W).

Solved - Wzye V3 cam... Any ideas to figure out why an outside IP attempting connections to two ports keeps following me?

Perhaps you can forget the Wyze time and use the BI timestamp Overlay. The following thread towards the end seems to indicate that it might work well. You may need to figure out how to get rid of the Wyze timestamp. https://blueirissoftware.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?t=1793
