Another possible method to overcome SmartPSS limits: Use Devices Export, Import, and Delete for groups of devices to manipulate the current devices available at any time. See if you can find an efficient way to do it for your particular configuration.

See current frame rate and gain within a set range

@wittaj @sebastiantombs OK, I tested more and Tinycam seems to have multiple problems. I rarely use it but remembered that FPS reporting thing. Thanks for setting me straight about FPS.

See current frame rate and gain within a set range

Assuming a camera is set to 15 FPS, if shutter speed is changed to 1/3 sec, Tinycam reports 3 FPS for the camera. I just tested it. Maybe this is really just an academic exercise... :)

How to get Live View across multiple monitors / devices with DS-7608NI-K1/8P

Try using Hikvision NVR Zero Channel feature. It should send a single 1920x1080 video stream with all your cameras displayed just like on your NVR monitor. It should provide smooth viewing of your cameras with significantly less bandwidth. Your Hikvision apps for camera viewing on ios...

Best way to shut down an ip camera when at home

@mr_ipcam With contrast=0, you would still be recording audio if mic is on. If that's a problem, you could use API to enable/disable audio, or try using the API commands to Shutdown and Reboot.

PTZ mount for under pitched roof....under gable mount

Here's a mount board made a few years ago for a big PTZ when first installed. It's still there today but looks better and uses POE. The yellow thing was a foam covered mic.

How to stop the white light turning on in the night automatically

Call Univew support and ask them. If you can't find a way to turn it off, try putting some black electrical tape over the place where the light comes out of the camera.

    How to setup Chromecast

My previous post was relevant to your question. You apparently don't understand what tinycam chromecast feature is. Also, chromecast does not support RTMP streams. Tinycam chromecast icon works fine for me. I click it and a list of chromecast devices appear. I select one and camera...

    Share web interface to outside?

Another way to access the Web UI of a remote Dahua camera is to add it to SmartPSS using P2P. Then in PSS Device CFG, click camera, then click Link to WEB. It will use windows default browser on your PSS PC. Change the default browser if your camera needs a different one.

How to view Dahua and Lorex NVRs from a single app?

Changing NVRs to one brand sounds good to me as long as cams on old NVR work on new NVR which they probably will.

How to view Dahua and Lorex NVRs from a single app?

Each vendor typically uses their own P2P server, so one vendor's app will only connect to its own NVR. If you want to Liveview and Replay recordings, you will probably need to use one of those vendor apps. Take your phone to a vendor one NVR location. Use the vendor two app to connect to the...

    IPC-HDW5442T-ZE artifacts

I suspect the artifacts on your hood in the first pic are caused by the angle of the sun and a reflection of the driveway going to your camera. Notice that the artifacts are not on the hood where the sun is not hitting it.

LIVE STREAM Dahua ip cams to cloud server without setting the port-forwarding and DDNS

I noticed that nimble streamer has a transcoder that supports RTMP. Most Dahua cameras support RTMP. Perhaps that would work for you without router port forwarding. https://softvelum.com/transcoder/ Other cloud streamers I am aware of that should work without port forwarding...

    SD49425XB-HNR access advice PLEASE
