New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I recently tried to have the doorbell ring also on my phone app, so that if I'm too far from the actual chime, I can hear the doorbell, but I don't find a way to enable this in the app, without also enabling notifications for motion which then floods my phone anytime someone walks in front of...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Thanks @TonyR , that Tycon splitter is $150 in Canada, so it's a no go for me. I also checked out the FOV with my 2K Lorex doorbell and I don't get near the coverage that the dual lens (Panoeagle) gives me which is on par with what I wanted. Still on the hunt for a small factor dual lens, but...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Could someone tell me if they are using the WIFI version with a breakout adapter that gets power from POE and powers the camera via the contacts, then using the wired cabling? I've looked into these type of adapters, and have not found anything that will split out the power to 24V DC, most are...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Ok so wanted to come back to this; seems that I didn't brick it - I did press the doorbell button w/o it being connect to Chime (after uninstalling both), and then I could not add it back into the app, but after a few scenarios I managed to do it. I have the Reolink Video doorbell wifi which...

Panoeagle PG-PG2086IRCS-P (dual lens) - option for corner coverage, some thoughts

I recently purchased one of these cameras in order to cover my backyard better (180degree coverage); driveway, backyard, pool. Currently using a WyzeCam3 (midway on shed) and a Lorex LNB8211x (corner of shed). These 2 cover my driveway, backyard as well as the pool, however I wanted something I...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

This is what I figured. The camera has been removed, so has the chime (off my mechanical doorbell); it's been replaced by a wifi Reolink doorbell. When I have time, I'll buy a battery and replace it, then test it out - however, I tried to reconnect it quickly, reset it, tried to add it, and it...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Has anyone done one of these battery fixes or checks internally? I'd say my battery is bigger than it should be but I don't really have a "reference" other than that article I found on reddit. Thanks!

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Thanks for the reply @Revo2Maxx , I'll take it apart and do the battery change when I can as someone has posted - I had a backup Wifi Reolink Doorbell, and have replaced it with that, the FOV is actually a bit wider on the Reolink which is better, it has web interface makes it easy to configure...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

I have a mechanical chime; this was all working fine till recently.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

@Revo2Maxx this started happening right after a forced FW upgrade; maybe it's coincidental and the battery is dead, but I've bee using this for 2+ years and never had an issue before that whatsoever with this. The RTSP feed disconnects (not just from BI) from any viewer, so the unit is going...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Well the feed still disconnects once the doorbell is pressed/rang just as before....

    Lorex 2K doorbell

@cerealkillers ok so tag you're it... :) it should be &backchannel=0 not #backchannel=0 after adding this, the camera works in BI - but I've yet to see if someone ringing the doorbell will disable the feed

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Yup, here it is, once I put this in, the BI can no longer see/connect to the camera, just give me a No Signal RTSP: 404 not found In my previous screen capture I had pasted it on there (with typo) just to ask the question, I never tried to use like that.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

I'll give it a shot, but when I added it to the end of the streams above Main/Sub BI would not load the stream anylonger...

AI for detecting humans in video (offline/online)?

So far it seems to be recording just when there are persons detected, although I don't really know where this setting is (i.e. if I just want it to trigger for cars and no humans, is that possible?) I have noticed that despite my record settings (I have BI set to combine clips every 6 hours) I...

AI for detecting humans in video (offline/online)?

I've installed it on another computer and running it on the 2 cameras that have the most "false alerts" that cause additional recording for no reason (i.e. like when it's snowing) and have set the AI setting only for "person". I will know in a few days if this reduces the 1) file size and 2)...

AI for detecting humans in video (offline/online)?

Yes, I think BI offers to install this when installing/restarting(?), but I don't need to have this done on all videos recorded there are just some that I'd like to run through such a "filter" after the fact. This is why I'm looking for this as a post video recording processing tool rather than...

AI for detecting humans in video (offline/online)?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it exists either a software to use offline/online, where one could upload a video and it would delete the frames where there are no humans (i.e. any other movement) and spit out just the joined clips of where there are humans? The cams I have don't have human...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Has anyone noticed that when someone rings the doorbell the RTSP feed cuts out? Is this because of the mechanics of getting the doorbell to ring (I've wired mine to use the existing doorbell) so expected behaviour? Thanks

Foggy Lorex 2K doorbell foggy/blurry all of the sudden

I removed the camera and put it in a small tupperware filled with those silica baggies that I sometimes keep from HW orders, for about 3/4 hours, and it's fixed it, mostly. I'll have to take it off again on the weekend and leave it the whole day, I think it will get it 100% clear.

    Replacement suggest for LNB8105/IPC-HFW1831C-PIR

Yes I agree, but I don't have the footprint under the shed overhang as the round mounting is wider than I have space, this is one the reasons I bought the lorex one, the mounting (as well as FOV), was fitting with my location. The Lorex (Dahua rebranded) has Angle of View H: 107° V: 57° The...

    Replacement suggest for LNB8105/IPC-HFW1831C-PIR

Could someone suggest if there exists a camera small enough with better quality for night time, as a replacement to my existing one. This rebranded Lorex (actually Dahua) is outside under the overhang on my shed, it fits there just perfectly and its form factor makes it very practical for that...

Foggy Lorex 2K doorbell foggy/blurry all of the sudden

Hey gang, I've had this doorbell I think now for 2+ years, and have never had any issues. A few days ago, the camera started getting blurry in a corner, then a day later it all became blurry/foggy. Initially I thought it was dirty so I cleaned the front with a soft cloth (that I use for...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Is anyone using ONVIF eventswith the POE camera to trigger recording on BI? Logging into the camera I don't find any IVS setting(s) nor a way to set up human detection. Is it even possible? Right now I'm using the BI motion detection, but would prefer to use the onboard AI if it has human...

ONVIF rule criteria for triggering events in BI

Would you be so kind as to post your setup? I'm running the Lorex 2K video doorbell (same thing as the AD410) and I'd like it to record on human detection (rather than on everything, including moving branches, as it does now). I'm unfamiliar with ONVIF events in BI, at least setting them up as a...

If anyone is using the new TP-Link Tapo C125 can you please post a review

I don't need 30fps, I'm just saying that the camera is advertised as supporting up to 30fps, but there is no way to get anything higher than 15fps. I'm happy with the C125 performance, would just have liked to test higher fps settings; the audio could be better, but it's a lot better than the...

If anyone is using the new TP-Link Tapo C125 can you please post a review

BI is Blue Iris, it's DVR software essentially to record from your cameras. I don't find that the C125 does more than 15FPS, even though it's advertised to go to to 30, really not sure what's up with these specs... Main reason I got it is that is has a really large viewing angle 140 degrees and...
