OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

On a side note, do you run Rekor with default settings, ie CPU rather than GPU. I find the former spikes my CPU usage when combined with Ai/Deepstack in Blue Iris.

OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

Ah, sorry to hear that, I feel your pain, took me a while to get the setup running initially even with Rekor in Windows. I was interested to see if running Rekor in Docker would give performance gains, or should I say take some strain off the processor. For now I will stick where I am and maybe...

OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

Well just for a laugh I pulled this into Docker and sure enough I get the same, plates update but all images show question marks. Answers on a postcard  now wondering why I tempted fate! will play with it and see what I can find. My head started hurting so I am back on Rekor for Windows...

OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

Ah, OK, just realised you are running the Rekor agent in Docker, mine runs in Windows 10 so my setup probably won't help us much with this issue. I wouldn't actually mind to move Rekor to Docker though so it would be nice to iron this out.

OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

Is the webhook testing OK from Rekor website? sorry, I am coming in a bit blind and don't admit to being an expert on this. How did you setup Docker, ie pull the image and are you running WSL2 in docker? Did you open any ports on your router previously, if so then these would not be changed...

OpenALPR Webhook Processor for IP Cameras

I just wanted to say thank you to @mlapaglia for making this available. I battled for a while to get it working in Windows 10 using Docker but the system has been a great help in tracking vehicles, in many ways it can make the actual cctv footage redundant. The historical aspect is incredible :D

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

Sounds like a good theory, I have tried to work out methods similar but they go out the window when you have one occurrence of processing times in the low 100's and another in the high 100's, in the end I settle on 250 or 500 in some cases. Based on trial and error. I have a GPU and the second...

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

Back on topic, I have learnt a few things about Deepstack these past 3-4 weeks: 1. It reduces false triggers by a huge margin for me. 2. Filtering and alerts can be relied upon more. 3. It will potentially need some CPU/GPU power to run depending on camera numbers and settings. 4. Can be...

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

For what it's worth I've built a few computers over the years, in general brands like NZXT, Fractal, Corsair, Phanteks, Lian Li all make solid cases, there are exceptions as always. I suppose on balance the most all round case I built was the Phanteks Evolv but these are quite expensive and...

Can of worms being opened, GPU's...easy, PSU's...easy, cases... :wow: NZXT 510/710 :thumb: My system crashed overnight and again today, first time in years, GPU must not be happy  driver issue maybe, updated so fingers crossed.

Schedule causing only two cameras to stop recording

Well I thought this was fixed but again it is happening in version 5.5.1.18, for me at least, I deleted the camera being effected and added again, this one is now fine but within 24 hours one of my other cameras now stops recording in Blue Iris when the night schedule switches in. Usual...

Sounds like you have a nice CPU cooler and plenty of air moving around, I promote Noctua when I can, expensive but very good. PSU should be good, I'm Seasonic or BeQuiet biased normally but EVGA are excellent brand with similar warranty. Always recommend buying the best PSU possible, no point...

Oh, that is annoying, shame but hopefully the additional exhausts with another blowing on the GPU will help things. Noisy computers never used to bother me much but things change and now I like close to silence, you can hear the music better as well :lmao: :lmao: :headbang:

So full size cabinet with full size PSU, that should help get some air out. What is the best you can do on intake fans? You have ATX and SFX power supplies, basically ATX is just full size :thumb: SFX or SFF are for the small form factor cases.

Sorry, I am half asleep, that was a full size PSU wasn't it, ATX size?

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

That is a lot of fans  my older machine has two 80mm intakes and two 80mm exhausts then two 140mm on the CPU cooler, newer one has two 92mm intakes and one larger 140mm exhaust then single 120mm on the cooler, both running Noctua fans and coolers, both barely audible unless you are within...

OK, that makes sense, ideally you want a couple of intakes and one exhaust, assume the PSU will make up the difference in most cases. I am a sucker for fans, normally throw my money Noctua's direction for both case and CPU coolers. Plenty of air flow keeps most components happier, my CPU's can...

If that cooler heat pipe is anything to go by I'd say that Asus should be running pretty nice temps, looks a good size. Unless they made a mess of the heatsink itself I'd say things are looking good. What kind of temp is the CPU running at out of interest, more fans certainly won't hurt.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

It won't hurt and you might gain a small drop in temp. Be careful looking at tests, different brand equals different cooler, some are average, some good and others excellent. EVGA, Gigabyte and MSi have made some excellent coolers over the years, some newer ones are not so great, mine included...

That looks OK to me, maybe a touch high but we are only talking a few degrees, my 1660 idles around 52, not the same chipset I know but just for reference
