    Hikvision DS-2DF8223I-AEL Pixelation issue

I can't confirm off the top of my head, but does the camera have a Main Stream (Event) selection in its Video configuration options? It might be that it's dropping the bitrate to a lower setting than the standard Main Stream as per the Event stream setting whenever it starts tracking.

Updated NVR firmware published - NVR_78_79_EXX_V3.4.80_160718.zip

Updated a DS-7716NI-I4-16P to v3.4.80 last week and had the same issue with blank configuration options. Clearing my browser cache has resolved similar issues in the past, but not this time. Resolved it by factory defaulting the NVR - do be wary of resetting if you have a non-WR model of course...

    Resetting a Hikvision bullet camera

Some Hikvision bullets have a phsyical reset button - which model is yours? On a mini-bullet, it's located at the back of the camera On a varifocal bullet, you can find it by unscrewing the cap of the camera, at the front. Couple of pictures to show where, attached. Depending on the model and...

What Hikvision NVR for 4MP Cameras

Let us know how you get on with the system rcopus - lots of discussion around this topic as you say, so more feedback is always good to hear. As a point of potential interest, Hikvision have just released their -K series NVRs in the UK, which aim to serve as a middle-ground between the -E and...

Manny's information earlier in this thread concurs what we've heard too, so it shouldn't be too long now.

    IVMS displaying green videos?

Interesting. What version of iVMS 4200 are you using on your Mac for it to work? I've just checked again with iVMS 4200 v1.02.02.02 on a Mac and got a green screen from two cameras running H.264+ from both the live view and playback footage. I'll do a few tests later and try to get it...

What Iphone app to acces settings cameras Hikvision

That's the right version. I posted a guide earlier which points out where to access the very limited settings with a few images if you're stuck, but the process is below. You need to add the camera to iVMS 4500 first. Next, navigate to Menu >> Devices >> Select your camera >> Tap the (...)...

What Iphone app to acces settings cameras Hikvision

To access the limited remote configurations of a standalone camera via iVMS 4500, the process is exactly the same as when connecting to an NVR instead. The remote configuration option is still under the same (...) context menu next to the Start Live View button. Make sure you update your app...

What Iphone app to acces settings cameras Hikvision

In the latest version of iVMS 4500, you can enable or disable motion detection, line crossing detection etc. on the camera directly via the app. Configuration options are very limited at the moment, but it's a promising start and might be worth checking out to see if it does what you need - it's...

    IVMS displaying green videos?

With regards to the green stream on iVMS 4200 on a Mac, there's currently no support for H.264+ on the Mac OS version of iVMS 4200. If you try viewing a camera with H.264+ enabled, you'll either receive no stream at all or an unusable green stream. You actually can't enable or disable H.264+ via...

Email alerts not working when Hikvision cameras connected to DS-7608NI-E2/8P

https://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php/10940-GMAIL-Failure-Anyone-Else Have a read through of this (lengthy) thread. Google are phasing out SSL encryption which is in use by Hikvision NVRs. Lots of people with the issue at the moment With a DS-7608NI-E2-8P, you should be able to get things up...

    GMAIL Failure? Anyone Else?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll pass on the message to some of our contacts with Hikvision. They're definitely aware of the issue, and I'm sure a firmware release is in the works, just not ready for the public release yet. In the meantime, if you're using an NVR and not a DVR, I'd encourage...

    GMAIL Failure? Anyone Else?

Interesting, thanks for that Manny. I hadn't personally tested the fix with a Hikvision DVR / Turbo DVR, but I've just set up a DS-7208HGHI-SH on v3.3.1 we have on our demo system and had a look. A different model perhaps, but very similar to your own. I have been unable to get emails from the...

    GMAIL Failure? Anyone Else?

Morning all, I wrote a small guide on our own forums recently regarding how to resolve this Gmail issue, as per Hikvision's own instructions. It resolved the issue for us in the office on a Hikvision DS-7716NI-I4-16P, DS-7608NI-E2-8P and various 3MP / 4MP Hikvision cameras running v5.4.0 -...

    Which update if any ??

Whilst there isn't currently a firmware update that resolves the issue with NVRs and Gmail, there is a workaround that currently works. I made a brief thread about it over on our forums which goes into greater detail than the below. Essentially, you'll need to enable 2-step authentication on...

    BST Timezone on Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I

If you connect to the cameras via a web browser, you can navigate to Configuration > Advanced Configuration > System > DST to configure DST settings on older firmware Set the DST Bias to 60min and it should fix it for you. Obviously change the timezone back to GMT +0 first though

White flashes on HikVision 4MP cameras

If you have a DS-2CD2342WD-I, v5.3.6 151105 still applies. The release notes in the link above (and other firmware releases if there are any) will list applicable models, one of which is the 2342. As mentioned though, you will only be able to set a single area for intrusion and line-crossing...
