    Common issues with camera image

    I never run vbr with anything video. Always ends like with this problem. How does the video behave when motion wakes up the bit rate? You can lose precious details in that transition as well. For me it's always CBR. Never an issue in the past or now with my 2431's.

    Not sure about hik but on dahua you can manually search/add per channel whatever it finds on the local network. If it finds the other nvr just point to whatever channel from it that you want.

    For the schedule look in the storage page, schedule/snapshot. Un the web gui for the nvr in in the management page. If you have to drop the picture quality so low then what's the point? You'd be better off just grabbing a snapshot from playback of an event.

    Think it's the pictures. Disable that and see. I have 8 four mega pixel cams doing higher bit rate than that @ 15 fps and a 4tb drive alone archives 8 days. You should be getting 16 days or so.
