    Nah, just initially to initialize the nvr. Then you really don't need the monitor much because you can hit nvr on the computer in the web gui as well as pss software for it. But I go to the nvr monitor sometimes too.

    You're probably better off putting it on a shelf because enclosing it in a cabinet with poor airflow could cause overheating. Keep a plan to have a monitor hooked up too. And I really think you'll be glad you moved the nvr to another room once you hear it.

    Idmss push stopped working with IVS.

    Mine has been working with ivs. Turned it off though. There's a neighborhood cat that makes the rounds around my house at night and I just can't seem to dial the settings to ignore it. Other than that and I'd keep push notifications on.

    Yeah this revereted on its own on three cameras. I set up exposures a week ago and they were holding. Only two things I did yesterday was set up ivs and today, took one camera offline and plugged t back in a while later. That shouldn't do anything like this. No logs of reboot or anything. Odd!

    I think I read this along the way but a search didn't bring it up. Three camera in my dahua poe nvr just reverted back to night/day default on their own. Weird. Bug? I have IVS on ll these cameras too. Just set it up fully tonight.
