New to BI : PC spec question
I have an i5 4790 with 6 cams recording 24/7. Three record 4mp @ 15 FPS, two record 4mp @ 10FPS and one is 3mp @ 20 FPS with intentions of adding two more 4mp @ 15 FPS. I'm usually around 26-33% CPU and around 2gb with the 6 and judging by what I've seen with each additional camera, I don't... -

How 2 use BI to convert some old bvr file to mp4?
They are transferable but you need to disable them on the old machine before activating on the new machine. Also, have you tried just putting the files on a thumb drive and double click them to see if BI opens them up? I'd imagine if they do open, you could just export them in the appropriate... -

I'd recommend mini tower, I have a SFF and I wish I went larger. I have my HDD mounted but its extremely close quarters and I haven't had luck finding an appropriate caddy to hold the SSD. This. When you crimp the RJ45 into the cable with the tool, it pushed metal into the cables thru the insulation thereby making the contacts work. There is no need to strip the wires of their insulation. Just make sure they are in the correct order when you push them into the RJ45 and then crimp...- PSPCommOp

Lots of (hopefully interesting) setup questions
I'm not a networking guru at all, I'm still learning all the in's and out's but from everything I've read, theres no way a wifi network can take the bandwidth of that many IP cams constantly recording, even if it is separated from the main wifi network of the house.
