    Thanks, just tested this on 2 2132f-is which came with 5.2.8 Chinese, works a treat, now 5.2.5 multi language. Didnt really fancy attempting the mtd hack as not too confident. thanks again!

    What language do you have at the moment on 5.2.0? As upgrading the 5.2.5 will almost certainly give you Chinese if it's a Chinese camera. If that's the case you will probs need to speak to CBX.

    no, when I tried doing it that way i could only see 1 file appear. i have a tftpserv folder, within it I have tftp server and files, digicap.dav file and hiktools.exe when I create, I put it into a folder "new" within tftpserv folder. I can then see all the files doing it this way.

    best option is to tftp 5.2.5 to the camera, get the serial number via sadp, and forward it to the supplier and they should be able to send you a fix.

    If the box label has 5.2.8 on it, and they have been reflashed, it might not have been done correctly, I have had the same issue with quite a few cams from china lately. Is the ir leds constantly on, or does it appear to reboot frequently?
