Your only looking at ~20% gain in performance by moving to an i7-2600. I had a look at Blue Iris Update Helper and others seem to use much less CPU with the same processor your using right now. Not sure what symbol you mean. If you mean the whole page you can change this via the settings (cog). Scroll down and change After login, show to the desired setting. -

Copy Profiles in BI5
Thanks @TonyR. I did manage to have a good read of all of the new help file in BI5 after that post. I think your correct in saying copy /paste has been changed to 'Syncronisation', which make sense. -

For me too many cons for an action cam. Lots of pros for a dedicated Dash Cam. Ability to auto start/record continue to record after you stop vehicle motion detection map overlays speed data collision/impact detection timestamps D/l footage over network, without removing SD card. -

Lorex vs Dahua learning curve
Just finished (today) installing a 5 cam vacation property install. Went with Andy's Dahua's + BI and dedicated PC for vacation property. Have the camera feeds displaying on one of the TV's. Second full license of BI5: can't get remote administration working
I tested my 2nd licenced BI Machine locally before remote deployment. I'm 600km away on the remotely machine now and BI connection back to home is working great.
