Hi, I was able to get my system to 14-17% consistently but the past day or two I've noticed it is 50-60% with 25-30% GPU (task manager says video decode). RAM usages used to be 3.2GB now its 4-4.1GB. Thanks. I can see how a regular user (my wife) could manipulate my profiles by changing around the geofencing location, but why should she have access to change the stop light or even manually set a profile? Recommended POE switch for 9 cameras?
Hi, I'm in the process of acquiring hardware for my setup. I have 9 POE 2K cameras. I notice a lot of the 16 port POE switches are only 8 POE ports. Is there one that meets my needs that I haven't seen on amazon? Should I get Managed or Unmanaged? Thank you! Happy Holidays!- blulegend

Thanks! I've seen the IP settings in the NVR. However, I've never had to connect to the cams directly. I suppose I could since they are connected to the NVR and the NVR is on the network. Not really familiar with how IP cams worked. Initially, I thought they were only accessible via the NVR... -

That is a great idea. So I would connect all the cams to a switch which also connects to the BI PC. But how to I connect it to the NVR? The NVR has its own POE switch built in. -
