Yes but the camera only will accept firmware if signed by RSA key that only Hikvision have. -

It's RSA, so unless you have the signing key you can't. TFTP works to reset password on older equipment, but not all newer equipment. -

No no - 49 days is just the current for my cams (more than one). It would be longer except I had to shutdown power to do some unrelated electrical work. Today it will tick over the 50 day mark etc. -

Looks all correct - I don't think there are Chinese versions of those cameras anyway. -

I've also seen a1234567 before And if try more than 3 times reboot camera first as many have a lockout after too many failed attempts. Don't connect to NVR until password works - NVR might automatically try to add and cause lockout without you having a chance to login yourself. -

Just in case my post gave a different impression - let me just say your work is awesome especially the downgrader. Great your work is free - though I don't think CBX did anything wrong by doing it for people for a charge that was made clear to them upfront and clearly they thought was worth it... -

Having had a quick look at his posts seems he gave notice he had to leave the scene and wouldn't be able to respond to emails after a certain date. I'm guessing that was for legal reasons (though it's speculation on my part). I can only find one time where someone looked like they paid for... -

There is no US retail 2**5/3**5 NFS/CIFS problems are likely the common problems all Hikvision cameras have relating to the server partition holding the share not being completely available to that share (and space used by anything else) -

Don't put it in a drawer if all else fails, put Chinese 5.3.0 on it and configure with Chrome (auto translate) or an ONVIF application. Main problem would be if you have a Hikvision NVR which will want the camera to be English. -

I know you said it's non-grey import but I would try TFTPing Chinese to it. If that works where English doesn't I think you've found the problem. Might not work obviously but it's another thing to try. -

If you bought from them on something like aliexpress then they should have someone on their contact page who speaks English (or can use a translator at least). They don't sell cameras otherwise :) -

If it's non grey import presumably it's legitimate world region? And you've not made any changes to the flash etc? TFTP 5.2.0 or 5.2.5 or 5.3.0 to it?
