    Fenderman is correct 2mp kills there 3mp and 4mp I have on order there low light version in 4 x zoom I have tested all of them and the 2 mp wins The 25x 2mp is ok

    With firmware from hikvision it should go up Eg you had 3.3.2 and then installed 3.1.18 I could be wrong but could you find 3.3.2 and reinstate that firmware and see if it works again

    Yes you could use a power line but you would need a Poe switch to power the cam then the other power line would need to be near the router. The camera in the attic set up its own IP address and in the nvr on the channel you want too add that camera manually enter that cameras ipaddress
