    (lower right corner) 40 is DS-2DE3304W-DE 41 is DS-2CD2155FWD-I same setting on both, latest firmware on both, it's nice to have the 2155 converted from 5mp to 6mp! i'm impressed by this DS-2DE3304W-DE, still inside so IR led is off on the other one, reflection is a thing :smash:

    I just got 2 new camera and they have a plastic bag zip tied to the camera with what seem to be silica or something like that (I think) should I remove it or leave it there? (if needed i could upload a picture later)

    yup,but again this was taken from the inside, through a windows and when installed outside i will have a secondary light worst case, if i find that camera useless during the summer i will try to sell it and get another one first timer here with outdoor camera :winktongue: i will learn one way...

    I noticed that, I think I got a good place to put it when I install it outside, street light and movement activated flood light should make it a "better" night time camera. I got a thread in hikvision subforum showing result of the street light alone and asking advice on how to make it "better"...

    I should be able to install 1 or maybe 2 camera outside soon but it's going to be "cold" This one will be installed for sure: hikvision DS-2DE3304W-DE the camera is inside and online, warmer than the room temperature which about 20c (68f) to 22c (72f) what is the best practice for installing...
