ha ok, i think you did a publish into one file which include every dependency anyway, i was able to decompile it and take the code from the form1 file and when compiled, it is a 140kb exe / 33kb dll (the exe isnt really needed in .net core world since you can run the dll) -

@wittaj interesting description, thanks for it right now I record in h265 and i am now wondering if should not switch to h264 for 4k, i currently do 15 fps at constant 6144kbps if I want the "same" quality with h264, should I go to 8192kbps or 12288kbps or stay at the same bitrate? any bonus... -

interesting experience with a single SSD as 24/7 recording drive
not much to say other than so far close to 220 days writing on this thing 24/7 on windows using SMB share and each drive letter are 256 gig, you can do the math, there are a lot of space not used for future expansion if needed I was under the impression that it would kill the SSD pretty fast...- Spirch

in your previous example you are doing a 2:1 iframe:fps, in your video the blur / ghost seem to resolve-ish itself every 2sec-ish, you have a iframe every two second with your setting can you change to 1:1 or even lower iframe, so a full frame will happen every second instead of two (a full... -

h265 and i frame is important, 1:1 or i frame lower than fps, lower i frame will use more space and might cause more cpu usage in your original video 25 fps 50 iframe 1 original frame every 50 frame, 49 will just be partial image with difference and more images create more artifact and ugly...
