    Yep, looks like marketing hype to me. As far as I can tell, these are just moderately sensitive low light cameras. It looks like they will stay in color mode and provide a "useable" image down to a little above 1/3 lux and then switch to night mode.

    My recommendation... Buy a big hard drive, and switch over to continuous recording, with alerts on motion detection. That way you have the option of going back and reviewing the recording to look for an event that motion detection missed.

    Loosing connection on hard wired cams

    Sounds to me like one of your switches may be flaking out or dying. Trace out the path between the BI server and the cameras that are having problems and see if you have a bad piece of equipment.

    I tried everything I could think of to get 2-way audio working on the Android app, but without success. I recently got an iPhone and without changing anything else in my setup, the BI app on it did 2-way audio on my two 2432F cameras with no problem.
