Where are the 2025 Models?
Where? In 2024 the only "major" release were TIOC-PRO / WizColor line.. there were a few low volume speciality new cams (like triple-sight one or some PTZ+panorama ones) and tons of cheap customer cams with limited / very cut Dahua firmware taken from divorce with ImouLife. That's all.. Nothing... -

all AI-ISP platforms looks like half-finished.. Dahua & Uniview released AI-ISP cams and they are on the market for last 6-9 months in not finished / optimized form.. HIK released to the public ColorVu 3.0 cams based on the same SOC / platform in Oct 2024. We have almost April 2025 - 6 months...- steve1225

Empiretech NVR8CH-8P-2AI Browser GUI only 4 cameras?
For more that 4 cams (and only second streams) in web Dahua NVR interface on any browser you need locally installed and ran Dahua web service. Possible only on Windows machine (or virtual machine). That local web service converts on the fly RTSP stream to format accepted by web browsers...- steve1225

SMD is good if you need to separate all human/car traffic (SMD) and some specific actions/triggers (IVS) on cheaper / lower cams.. but on modern cams (5442-S3, 7442-X) SMD was replaced by AcuPick 2.0 / mini Video Meta Data for that.. With AcuPick 2.0 you can search not only by human/car/animal... -

As I wrote many times - you must select beetwen: Acupick turn on with only mini IVS and only mini VMD (no face/plate snapshots, many limitations) or AcuPick turn off for full VMD with all features (as presented on my post) and no IVS (or IVS done on NVR)... -
