Sorry I have never tried to run CPAI on a separate/mesh system or for that matter tried to use the LPR module, all of my three install are all on the same PC that runs BI and it has always worked with no issues -

If I try to use the Custom Detect with the same image file, I also get the same "No predictions returned" message, not sure if this is what is supposed to happen Not 100% sure, but I suspect that the errors are due to the fact that the service is already running, which would explain the ports... -

Can you try going to "http://127.0.0.1:32168" in your web browser and see if you get the same results, that is what comes up on mine when I go to this page, not sure if it will make any difference or not as it should go to the same place! -

Dorsey Are you referring to the CPAI service account? If so then I have all of my 3 systems set to start as "Local System Account", and they are all working fine! If you are referring to the Blue Iris Service Properties, then it needs to be a local user account with administrative...- Bruce_H

Issues installing Modules CPAI
I am no expert, but it looks like the install program is not able to run PowerShell and some other basic stuff, what version of windows are you running, is the install being run by a user with administrative privileges? Have you tried running the following command in an elevated terminal windows... -

Emailing through Outlook.com problems
MY short answer is that you will not be able to get BI 4 working with Outlook/Hotmail, a number of people have used some other email providers that still support the less secure protocols, I am not sure if any of them are FREE! Perhaps someone else might have some ideas that I am not aware of!- Bruce_H

Blue Iris as dash camera
Have you really thought this out, are you really wanting to put a Windows PC running BI and 1 camera in each Police Car just to record a dash cam, I would suggest that a look around for a good dash cam would be a better strategy! -

If that works with out causing errors I would be satisfied, the normal advice is not to check the Auto Start box on the AI page as many people have reported issues with that setting and all of my three installations start just fine every time when the service is set to automatic, What user do... -

CPAI Object Detection
First question is what objects are you wanting to detect? Do you want the same objects to be detected on all cameras. You can check the 'Alert" tab setting on each camera and click on the "AI Configuration" and see if the "Static object analysis" is checked, if so try unchecking it! -

CPAI 2.9.5 Service Not Starting
What version of Windows? Have you looked in the Windows event logs to see what is being reported? Far too many things to even begin to guess at without further info! This is not an issue that I have seen reported on the BI forums! -

Install Code Project then BI?
I don't think that CPAI will use the Intel GPU, it only works with Nvidia based GPU's, if you use the Dot Net module for CPAI it should work just as good; possibly better running on the CPU! Also if Yolo5.net will not start, you will have to look in the CPAI log to see what the errors are that...- Bruce_H

Yes you may also need to look the CPAI log files to see if there are any errors there -

You need to uncheck the option in BI to automatically start the AI process, it is no longer required and WILL cause you problems! -

Just looking at the log file, it appears that the AI module has just started 3 seconds prior to the error messages, it is likely that the AI was not fully started when an alert was sent to it! Was the server just restarted? You need to look at the event log prior to this and see if the AI... -

Flinstone61 is referring to the folder structure below the BlueIris folder on your hard drive, all the folders that are referenced on the storage TAB in the BI program.
