DeepStack Case Study: Performance from CPU to GPU version

Well, it's the season for tinkering and maybe some Black Friday deals. I'm running 12 or 13 cameras all running deepstack on a Dell Optiplex 7050 Micro i7-7700/16GB Catching up on this and other threads, it would seem like the GTX 1050 ti would be a good choice. Although I'm sure I have a...

    How to delete group names

Did I miss something or has it moved - I can't find the select groups under camera->general settings. Also can't find how to hide disabled cameras. BI 5.5.0.13 Apologies if I'm just being ignorant. New to 5.5.0.13, I see how to edit layouts and hide specific cameras but not how to remove...

How do I change the IP of my Dahua 5231?

Thanks all! Tried all of the above before my post aside from resetting which was the easiest for my brain. It's been a long time since I've had to fiddle with the others. A screwdriver and thumb were foolproof. :)

How do I change the IP of my Dahua 5231?

I just pulled an old IPC-HDW5231R-Z out of a box and according to SmartPSS and Config Tool, the IP is set to 192.168.0.10. Every other camera is 192.168.1.xx? How do I access the old 5231 to change the IP to the correct IP?

Blue Iris 4 to 5 Migration Guide

Turns out I deactivated, re-activated and then re-imported my settings. All cameras are now showing and motion detection appears to be intact. Perhaps I activated they LE License instead of full. Operator Error :( Thanks for the help!

Blue Iris 4 to 5 Migration Guide

Just updated my second of two BI machines to 5.0.0.56. This machine has 13 cameras vs the other just one. I can only see one of my cameras and am not yet sure how to view the others. Alerts of the other cameras are still there but when I log in via UI3 or from the Android, I only see one...

I just received the following response from Bit Defender. Renaming the httpproxy.dll file in safe mode worked for me. I can now view remotely UI3 and the BI app on Android. ____________________________________ Thank you for sending the files. I have looked into the case and it seems that...

    Blue Iris UI3

+1 w/ Bit Defender 2019 issue I tried adding URL of the server but still no go. Tried full URL and just domain and a restart. JPEG HD works. BI Android app does not work. Going to hold off updating Bit Defender on my other server.

    High CPU After Migration

I moved to a dedicated BI machine and have much higher CPU rates. Strange since I exported/imported all settings and changed nothing else other than a BI update and clean install of Windows 10 Pro. From a Dell XPS i5-4330 w/ 32GB RAM to a dedicated Dell Inspiron 7050 tower, i7-7700 w/ 16GB...

    Blue Iris Hardware Recommendations

Hey Guys, I finally bought a refurb on eBay to run a dedicated BI machine remotely and have a couple of questions. I bought a Dell OptiPlex 7050 MICRO 7th Gen i7-7700/16GB/128GB SSD/Win10 Pro with 30 days return policy. Perhaps overkill but I wanted something that I wouldn’t have to mess with...

Agree w/ wcrowder. SS keeps improving to where BI has been for a while. Switched after paying for many licenses. Never looked back.

I'm running 12 of these around my house all outdoor (minus one in my garage). Also using Blue Iris. What are you guys using for Profile Management in these cams (I think default was Full Time Day)? I've just set them all to Normal to see what it does. Thanks

Using a UPS with Surveillance System, is it recommended?

I am watching most things Elon does. I like the concept of the Powerwall but not totally critical for me now. I do have UPCs by all of my POE switches. I consider them another device with a battery to maintain.

@tdwilli1, I left "use another port" unchecked and also tried it checked to port 80. The headphone icon on the mobile app is still grayed out as are the ptz and whichever one controls the IR. Here are the connections setup in the camera:
