You should be able to log into one of the other apps is what @breakfast247 is saying. So yes, you do have other options: Hik-Connect, Guarding Vision, Guarding Expert and iVMS-4500 to name a few. -

Ive been getting the same error today too. It appears they may be segmenting the servers so you're only allowed to log into the server you originally signed up on. That's a guess though. -

@alienatsf After you first install Hik-Connect you have to select your country otherwise I don't believe it will work. -

Try admin+verification code. EX: If verification code on doorbell is ABCDEF. Then your password would be adminABCDEF. -

No, I haven't experienced that. What do you mean when you say "not being able to maintain an IP"? Is it changing to a random IP or resetting to a specific IP? Why not just set the IP static AND have the reservation in your router? -

That's typical of ONVIF. Expecting ONVIF to work perfectly with every little thing is definitely expecting too much. While ONVIF is a life saver in some cases, even during then, it's hit and miss on what will work and what won't. Glad to hear you figured out a workaround @Weasel @iakov... -

@iakov Actually, they do make great products and definitely are the leading manufacturer of surveillance equipment currently. You must be looking at the wrong spec sheet if you see WDR and yours doesn't have it. Keep in mind they have different versions of the doorbell. What does the spec... -

Currently the firmware has the majority of those settings disabled. As far as I'm aware there's no way around it. -

It's the part that's highlighted in the picture. The original piece is a small metal piece. The baffle is black plastic. I don't, I imagine it's a specialized piece. She probably will though. -

There's a piece that needs to be replaced called a "baffle". Contact whoever you got it from to send you the part. It's easy to replace. -

We don't customize the firmware at all. It's Hikvisions OEM firmware which I believe all unbranded (LaView, Clare, LTS, Nelly's)doorbells take. Most likely the Hikvision USA "branded" doorbell will take a different firmware specific to it. Nice Cliff Notes btw! -

The only way, currently, to set a static IP on the doorbell is by MAC reservation. Guide attached for those who don't know how to do it.
