    The ONLY thing I argue is that the USA wouldn't allow Russian armaments near our border, and expecting Russia to allow NATO armaments near their border is unrealistic and hypocrisy. If that constitutes moral equivalency, I'm guilty. If not, you're trying to put words in my mouth.

    Those are pretty lame cables both in terms of wire size and composition. On the lighting, when there's a big change in the light level, the image can be useless until the camera adjusts to the new lighting intensity.

    Are you sure about this? I've never seen anything in the standards other than performance requirements like bandwidth, crosstalk, etc. There's nothing about conductor size, material, or DC resistance. Due diligence is required when selecting what to use.
