YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

You might want to check if there's a firmware update. According to the specs page it's supposed to be Onvif 2.5. Your screenshot mentions Onvif 2.0. Or this could just be typical of low budget stuff. Hope you can get it to work with BI. I'm also sure that many here would love to see some...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Here are the screenshots you added to the Media gallery: Basically you just need to view these in the Media gallery in full size and then right click the image and select something like 'Copy image location' or whatever it's called in your browser of choice. Then in your post you can...

Were still there perhaps. It's been almost a year ago since this happened.

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

In what sense? I Googled and searched the forum but couldn't find much, except for a problem with a PTZ camera having the controls mirrored and security issues with the YooSee app and the Gwell cloud infrastructure in general. At least it's not their first attempt at a doorbell, they also have...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Good, I'm pretty sure this is a very different product then since many of the specs are different. In general of course it's true that great specs on paper don't mean anything: image quality could suck, build quality and longevity could suck, firmware could suck even more etc. I hope @vandyman...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Yeah, it doesn't look like it's vandal proof or anything. Good thing it's not expensive. I suppose you could make a metal enclosure if you want to deter someone from stealing it. I'm still waiting for the building of our new home to be completed before I can begin installing camera's but I do...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

The lip seemed a bit shallow for that but I hope you're right. Surely they cannot be that stupid, can they? Well yes of course they can but let's hope they're not. It doesn't seem to have an IP rating at all actually (Edit: WRONG) so care should be taken with regard to placement or shielding...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Which one would that be? Closest one I could find is this: https://www.amazon.com/LaView-Doorbell-Storage-Pre-Installed-Detection/dp/B079Q435KL Specs are different and the micro SD slot is on the side instead of on the bottom and the mic is not centered above the lens so it's a different PCB...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Looking at this: it almost seems as if the memory card slot is accessible even with the door bell mounted to the mounting bracket . Hope that's not really the case. I also wonder how easy it is to remove the entire thing from its bracket. Looks like it might come off easily. Edit...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Well, even my regular Siemens Gigaset DECT telephones for instance don't really do full duplex when in speaker mode to avoid echoing; they automatically mute one side or the other depending on how loud you're speaking. These phones don't require you to press a button to speak but in the strict...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

I asked a question along those lines in my email to them but I didn't receive a reply. They did update the page not long afterwards with new information answering almost all my questions. Would something like that typically be part of the Onvif support? It supports Onvif profile S. Had a quick...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

From that page showing the white version: Interoperability The smart doorbell supports universal RTSP stream protocol, it's able to transmit video stream to other devices or software. It's also compatible with Onvif specification, works with your new or existing IP surveillance system. Thanks...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

There's a lot of other new information on the product page. Also confirms that PoE is passive but that's no biggie for me. Edit: Awesome, the chime uses 433 MHz, not WiFi: That should mean better range and no attack vector through WiFi.

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

I just noticed they have added some information to the product page: I think this is the USB indoor chime they're referring to, seems it's USB only in the sense that it's powered by USB (PC or a simple USB power supply); Wireless chime receiver for smart doorbell camera Optional accessory...

Hi, I think this is a new doorbell from YooSee (model SD-M5) and on paper it looks too good to be true: 1080p app controlled smart doorbell camera PoE wireless Wi-Fi AC 8-24V DC 9-36V built-in PIR motion sensor Yoosee app Yoosee 1080p smart video doorbell/intercom HD camera wireless/Wi-Fi...

Anyone using SPF -> RJ45 adapters?

If a total of 8 ports including the 'uplink' port is enough the Ubiquity US-8-60W should fit the bill. It does have snmp if I'm correct. Also comes in 150W version and there's also a 16 port. I was under the impression that uplink ports are mostly a thing of the past, afaik most modern...

    New Website!

On my other system which is a dual monitor setup I can increase the window size further and doing so does cause things to render properly again. So there is a client size range between 1024 and 1024+N pixels where things don't fit.

    New Website!

Actually as it turns out it depends on the actual horizontal size of the browser window. Starting with a smaller window size and then increasing the size of the window, the font size of the main title and the picture of the PC monitor suddenly increase in size at some threshold (1043 pixels...

    New Website!

Additional: the cropping only occurs with the browser window in Maximized state (not Full Screen mode, just maximized as in WM_SIZE with SIZE_MAXIMIZED), both in Firefox and Chrome. In Restored (SIZE_RESTORED) state it renders just fine in both browsers.

    New Website!

On Windows 10 using Firefox 67.0.3 the left side of the homepage is cropped. Subheader starts with troducing Blue Iris v5! so an area the size of the In bit of Introducing is off screen. Also happens with Chrome 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit). Not so with Edge.

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

From looking at some of those images full size I get the impression the new AI 4mp camera might be oversharpening things a bit in it's compression algo. The 5231 does not seem to do that. For now I think I prefer the 5231, even in broad daylight.

Help me to choose the right outdoor ip camera

No, you'll have good details on the bald spot on top (if he's not wearing a baseball cap). The <8ft advice in point 12 is about the angle, not the distance. Of course, if you use a zoom lens (13mm or something) and focus on something say 10m (30ft) away the virtual height of the cam at for...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

It seems clear to me that there is a problem with the compression going on with both the new 4MP and the older 5231ZE in this footage. Compare this: to this: The footage from Nayr looks much better imho. Yes, different environment, different camera but both are 2MP Starlight cams. The...

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

There's something really strange going on with the compression it seems, similar to the version with white leds. It's almost as if looney2ns is some kind of semi-transparent ghost in those night time videos. Unless my memory is inaccurate (I should really re-check the reviews before saying this)...
