Is HFW5442E-Z4E similar to Empiretech B54IR-Z4E?

Ok, I'm not seeing but I was messaged that one of the photos in this post still has the S/N on it. Am I missing something here?

Is HFW5442E-Z4E similar to Empiretech B54IR-Z4E?

Here is what I get from the camera GUI. Looks like an older version. I presume it's an ok camera?

Is HFW5442E-Z4E similar to Empiretech B54IR-Z4E?

I'm wondering if these 2 cams are similar in specs. I have attached a photo of the tag on the 5442 camera

    The official "WTF" thread

Even with all we know now, the industry isn't getting any better. Its as corrupt as it was during COVID, except they are doing a little better job of hiding things. The fallout continues and we continue to pay for it.

New speed record for LPR here

We must have a new mule in the neighborhood who is trying to build a reputation. He's a young guy, probably 18 - 22, who is on a mission to make the fastest deliveries possible. This morning caught on our east facing LPR cam, just over 150 feet from the turn he made, he was already covering 50...

    The official "WTF" thread

I know this is an old post, but, as far as I'm concerned, the medical industry took a nose-dive right around the time COVID happened. We got to see just how corrupt many of institutions and staff had become. Back-handed payouts from behind-the-scenes characters and government agencies to keep a...

WTS x1 EmpireTech Cam & x2 Apple TVs

While you don't list a model number, if it's an IPC-T54IR-ZE camera, I think you may have a tough time selling it at that price. A brand new one is just under $185 with free shipping and the new one will have a warranty. YMMV

Any comments (or maybe better alternatives) for IPC-HDW2441T-ZS

I'd guess the shutter speed has to be close to 1/250th to grab that shot with no blur

Here is a photoshopped version of your resized image with BLC on with the gamma cranked way up. Yeah, you can see more, but the image is getting really noisy as the histogram is being stretched out into a wider range. You'll have tons of gaps in the shadows which will produce a lot of noise. It...

Is it possible to get a daytime shot from this camera? It would sure help to orient others and give a better overall of the scene

Ok, so definitely blurred, but I can't think of any camera that it wouldn't be blurred on. So, let's go back to the basic question again, what are you trying to capture here. Knowing what activities and subjects you are trying to capture will go a long way to making an informed camera decision

And I don't see a bat in the still. Is it the object that is circled in the attached screenshot?

It really hard to say what camera will "fit the bill" without knowing what subjects and activity you are trying to capture.

Just my thoughts, as I am still learning, so take what you can from it. Obviously, a single camera with little available light isn't going to get much coverage or see a whole lot. I have drawn zones over your still capture to what I "think" might apply to detect, observe, recognize and identify...

Not that I can add anything useful to what is already posted, but it would be helpful to know what you are trying to achieve for the area in question. What is the purpose of the camera, detect, observe, recognize or identify?

Visor or no visor, rain at night with IR on pretty much most cameras, pretty much all you're going to see is rain falling

    Security Cameras

How it works really: We sell you inferior re-branded equipment and sign you up for an expensive monthly contract to which locks you into the service for a minimum of 5 years. We lead you to believe that there are "guards" actively monitoring the equipment, so you feel all warm and fuzzy inside...

I will say, any cameras that I have that run IR at night, will essentially be blinded by the rain during that time.
