    And when a vehicle passes the camera has a hard time levelling out the image and pulsates - like auto or smart IR is still on even though it is in manual. Like you mentioned, it may be trying to balance out but is having a hard time because of the reflection from the pavement.

    Update I was able to connect everything today and review the outcome. I don't think LPR is going to happen with this camera as there is not enough zoom even with it zoomed all the way in. The other issue is that without enough zoom, the camera's FOV captures too much of the sky keeping the area...

    What do you guys clean your dome cameras with?

    I have a Lorex mini PTZ dome camera installed on the northeast corner under the eave and it's been fine for the last 5 years of Florida weather. I've always used window cleaner without ammonia and a soft lint free cloth. YMMV
