    Still using the Lorex NVR, which as we know is a handicapped Dahua NVR. I have not had the chance to set up the Dahua NVR5216-16P-4SK2E yet. I presume the Dahua NVR will be able to provide the appropriate bitrate, as I believe that is the NVR bigredfish uses. So much to do.

    So, about 1 - 2 feet longer. I think I should be ok with the turret out front as it is mounted about a foot higher than the other cameras.

    Just noticed. The image seems sharper zoomed all the way out vs zoomed all the way in. I guess because of the varifocal lens?

    I wasn't going to consider the 4K cameras, but since they do better at lower light levels, I figured I'd give them a try in 3 locations. I thought the 6mm would be perfect for the long shot of the road, but the focus doesn't work for me. So, I switched that location to a 3.6mm version. I still...

    Yeah, I seen Smart IR was on under exposure after I posted the screenshots. I guess with that on, the manual illumination would not work as it should. Will make the necessary changes and report back tonight

    And I think I answered my own questions. I didn't even see the Smart IR selection under exposure settings. What a dumb ass!
