To be honest, I am not sure why they were trying to setup IVS for Vehicles anyway. Then as you pointed out having it appear isn't a good idea when the area to be protected is covered in vehicles lol.. What is really interesting is using a Lite NVR and a 8mp camera in an area that is over sized for the cameras best area of interest.. You will want to look over the cameras and make sure that they do in fact work with White LEDS at night and not only for like an alarm.. Won't need relay if the siren you will connect to is able to work with 12v at or below 300ma.. if you want to drive a high current device then powered siren that works with wet contact input or would need external relay with 12 power supply.. if you have siren already you can test the current... -

Where are the Convert / export files going?
So I found that the place is touchy lol. I would look in your Download folder that was the default and might be that you touched something that exported it there. I did 3 to the DL folder and then did one to my own folder that I use for BI backup already..- Revo2Maxx

yeah you don't need SMD if your IVS is working well enough. Just setup motion and setup not to record the motion events, This is if you have setup to NVR and record full time anyway.. Then you can still pull in the events in playback if you have that ability in the NVR if not then just use IVS... -

OK so tripwire with crossline.. I don't know if you get email and if you have the dual per event but in the current as i look at it if you do get email you will get 4 emails per vehicle going by if that was an option you asked for.. Foe me in my zones I leave enough room for camera to capture... -

Just asking? Do you have any detection zones setup in Bi? I mean I see you have it setup for trigger as if you setup zones so I am just wondering how you are getting alerts outside of ONVIF? -

Also as an update, Not sure why it would reject and change for any other reason however here is my NTP log as it ran. 4pin 12v Bosch style relay.. The issue with a POE splitter is that it takes the POE and gives you only Ethernet and 12v so you would then need a 12v Y as well and power the camera on 12v as well if you went that route. Your Camera as you say is only able to run about 3.6w and that siren is 15w or same as 1.25amps. so that would require you to use your output to work with another relay that has more then say 120 Ohms relay coil.. To answer in short No.. If the DVR don't offer any IP channels because it is older and don't support tech then you will need to buy a Metrix converter and the cost for 2 even 4 cameras cost more then most people are willing to pay.. Link to camera is 4mp with color night white led, I have both types. Color cameras with white leds and dual light. However some cameras with dual light don't always work the way I want them all the time. -
