    Again if your NVR is setup with UPNP then it could be sitting on the internet. But now knowing it's behind your NVR they would need to gain access to that. Think more a memory issue more then someone gained access.

    So it's not easy to tell someone what an issue is only some ideas what might be an issue. Bad cables or ends. Bad ports or packet loss caused bt many different issues. Distance. So testing with power supply can help understand what might be the cause.

    Sounds like you have the software already. If you are using the IPConfig or any other camera tools that will let you make changes to the cameras info..
