Something to try.. Go to the NVRs GUI aka while connected to the NVR HDMI or D-Sub to your monitor, Log in to the NVr, then click on Configuration. Then under general top line should be Language see if English option is there?- Revo2Maxx

I never said that. What I am saying is that Amcrest seems to get a bad rap around here. Sure, some people have had issues with their cameras or even with Blue Iris, but that doesn’t really reflect the full picture. There are plenty of others who have bought Amcrest products, and Blue Iris... -

Personally don't think it's the shed. Normally would see good light on roof, it looks far enough away. Looks like light reflection off front lens caused by ir plate not being installed correctly.. or something close to camera housing not in shot reflecting light that is bouncing down lens... -

You can factory reset the camera without killing your warranty.. You can do a software reset from the Cameras WebUI even.. -

Seeing Amcrest supports Bi, I would make a ticket, phone support isn't always the go to for help. Bi support is going to need a higher level support staff. If there is some issue with new camera the info gathered by the support agent that would be given your ticket can work with R&D to get it... -

That is the issue. Not many cameras as of yet that have Dog detection that has the other features you want.. The 3849 as said before will give you most of what you need in the IVS.. The issue is that you have a neighbor that is tossing food or trash and that is what is important for detection...- Revo2Maxx

POE camera installation - how are you guys running wires?
Long drill bit with small hole to fish wire through, fire stop sealer. If in high lightning area will want to protect in and outside connections to quality unit like Tupavco going to ground. Battery drain?
Anyone have battery issues with last DMSS update? Even my phone told me it is causing large drain put to deep sleep. I didn't but only getting 8 hrs on 100% charge and before last auto update in app it wasn't like this?
