    Installing PTZ

As point out, above PTZ cameras need normally 60w this means you can't connect directly to an nvr, local power is the preferred installation, but not always possible. so to run on poe the item needed is called a midspan higher end camera tend to come with them, Hikvision cams do not.

HikVision iVMS4500 (HD) shows behind realtime.

unfortunately you to theory fall out of bed in the fact that on a higher end device like an samsung note 10.1 it will run for hours without missing a beat. it's lossing or even dropping packets, if falling over them. But you can even go cheaper with a Chinese $20 nvr and set it up under onvif...

HikVision iVMS4500 (HD) shows behind realtime.

I've tried this with all manner of Android tv box and the lag is horrible as you have also found. The way I found time get real time viewing is just get a cheap 7108 or 7116 no POE instead. you can also pop in a little HD for a bit of play back too. it would seem it's the android boxes just...

Some of my DDNS NVRs are not reachable

It'seems very American, not to trust the Chinese with their cloud or DDNS services. but then I bet the Chinese and Russia would feel the same about a US service given the fact they all play the same silly Arse nosey games. It's a shame that Hikvision ddns service is closedown now to new...

[MCR] R6 EN camera firmware 5.4.3 repack +SSH -PSH

I never managed to get a 5.25 / 5.28 to go any higher always failed at the boot, I think it was a bootloader issue. but then I still think 5.25 to be the most stable.

    Dahua cameras on Hikvision NVR?

The lag should be no more than a few seconds, unless more than one connection is made to the NVR at the same time then it will lag by about 10 seconds. if you are connect direct to the nvr via a hdmi or vga there will be 1-2 second lag via a PC it will be greater.

    (www.hik-online.com) is determined to discontinue

The new service is already up and running and has been for three months, it's basically an updated version of ezviz with a few tweaks to it. easy to setup fast to use and still works with custom and hacked NVR's and camera's so far. no router forwarding needed and you can encrypt the stream.
