How to install when there is no attic?

My issue is once the flat aluminum stock is in place (wedged in) you can't get behind it to use a screw/bolt. Hope that makes sense.

Do you use a patch panel?

That makes sense, i never understood the need for a patch panel it just means more work adding connections etc I was always under the impression it was just for appearance.

Do you use a patch panel?

I don’t I have always just plugged in my cables directly to a Poe switch. I can see a patch panel cleaning up the cables but I also have limited space in my rack.

How would you do this install, that has a 3 ft crawl space?

I can drill the hole from inside the crawl space so i don't hit the center of the block. Out of curiosity say i did drill like a 2 inch hole and didn't need it anymore how hard would it be to patch it? or can it be patched? I think it has a parge coat on it.

How would you do this install, that has a 3 ft crawl space?

Another friend wants 8 cameras installed at his house/garage it has a crawl space of course no attic access. The crawl space is only 3 feet off the ground so my job is to avoid it. The crawl space wall is made of Concrete Retaining Wall Block with cement on it so it does not look like a Concrete...

Static or DHCP for IP cams?

Just looking for ideas on how to manage my cams, I block my cams from getting to the internet, it's easy to do with ubiquiti. I would use VLAN but not all my switches are ubiquiti and it tends to be a pain when you have different brands of switches mixed. I find it easy to just create a rule...
