BI will not update the extended maint. plan

Hello Everyone, I bought a subscription plan yesterday for BI and cannot get it to upgrade at all. I reinstalled win11 on a fresh build and had already deactivated BI on my other build whereas I can activate on my new build. I have the evaluation watermark on all my cameras that I am reinstalling from scratch. I bought the extended maintenance with auto renew at buy.stripe.com. which in turn gave me this http://localhost:9999?session_id=cs_live_a1******************************************* but my pc will not connect. localhost refused to connect. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.
I email support about this and have not received a reply as of yet.

You hadn't correctly censored the URL by the way. The link destination was still set to the full location. I edited it for you. Based on the beginning of the URL (http://localhost:9999), this was most definitely an internal failure on their end, not your fault. Without knowing who sent the URL to you, we don't know if it was Blue Iris's fault or Stripe's (I sure as heck hope it wasn't Stripe's fault, that is some sloppy error handling).

Thanks for your reply, I simply cannot get it to connect. I get this error message - localhost refused to connect. As soon as payment went through Stripe, I got the link. this is the link - http://localhost:9999?session_id=cs_live_a**********************************************. I hid the rest of link. I am completely lost. Still no word from BI support as of today.

the release is 5.9.8.5 x64 (10/3/2024) will not update to newest version either

When you launch Blue Iris and it has reverted to trial mode, in the window where it is complaining about that, it might have a text box you can paste that URL into. I am not sure.

I wonder if Blue Iris runs a local web server on port 9999 while that window is open, so that your localhost link might work if pasted in a web browser on the Blue Iris machine?

Also, a few replies up you pasted the full link again and only censored the link text but not the link destination. Again.
